Cobh Flower and Horticulture Club

Cobh Flower and Horticulture Club will hold their next meeting in Cobh Community Centre on Mon 2nd February at 8pm. It will be a Floral Demonstration by Hannah Heubach entitled “Wedding Flowers”. Visitors Welcome. Admission €5. Decorative Competition – Beginners and Open: “The Bare Necessities” – an exhibit. Horticultural Competitions: 3 Garden Treasures, 1 Stem of Conifer, A Foliage Pot

Festival of Flowers

A Flower Festival was held at St.Colman’s Cathedral, Cobh from September 19th-21st . Entitled “History, Dreams and Memories”, it was an great success, bringing many visitors to our Cathedral and raising a substantial amount of money for our organ restoration fund. The great amount of time and effort given by those involved was much appreciated

Confirmations 2015

We are happy to announce that the Confirmations for 2015 will take place on Saturday April 18th. With the kind permission of Bishop Crean it has been agreed that there will be two ceremonies on the day, one at 10.00 am and the other at 12.30 pm. There are over 200 children eligible for Confirmation from our schools this year.
